The Construction Manager as Owner’s Advisor (CMA), at one time known as CM Agency, is responsible for managing nearly every phase of the commercial construction project, from preconstruction to construction to the closeout of the project. During every phase, the CMA is dedicated to keeping the owner’s best interests in mind and stays focused on delivering value. This often includes project schedule development and monitoring estimating services, cost and change management, and more. Over the course of the project, the CMA will perform constructability reviews, provide full-time field supervision conducting all daily job duties, and monitor quality and safety control while not self-performing any of the work. Throughout the project, the CMA keeps the owner informed on the progress of the project and coordinates with the design professionals to help produce a successful project completion.
