Kurt Miller

Kurt J. Miller is President and a shareholder of Miller Diversified, Inc., and sits on the Board of Directors for the company. He is a graduate of St. John’s Jesuit High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. In 1998, Kurt received his M.B.A. from Bowling Green State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. His master’s thesis addressed the role of geographic location in strategic management and organizational theory, thus adding to his personal knowledge of commercial site selection and associated real estate services.

Kurt’s professional career began as a product engineer for Kelsey-Hayes in Romulus, Michigan, where he was responsible for production of electromechanical sensors, performance testing and customer/manufacturer/supplier coordination. He joined Miller Diversified in 1988, where for two years he was in charge of construction management for commercial, residential and light industrial projects. In 1990, Kurt became controller for Miller Diversified and their subsidiary companies, including real estate development, property management, construction and nursing home operations. During this period, he was instrumental in developing a master strategic plan for Miller Diversified under which the company expanded all of its strategic business units relating to real estate. In 1993, Kurt became President of Miller Diversified.
